This strap is perfect. Finally a solution to my Haflinger slipping her muzzle, even with my Homemade neck strap. Thank you for enabling her to graze with her buddy.
This is a perfect addition to the muzzle and absolutely works, and gives me a lot of confidence that the muzzle is not going to come off, even when the horses feel the need to be extra aggressive when scratching an ear on the side of the fence, or a nice “aggressive” roll around in the grass! The other night, one of my horses came in from turn out with the left ear portion of the muzzle slid down-I’m sure due to a nice roll in the grass, but the stay put throat latch held the muzzle securely on, and all was well!! So grateful for this Green Guard accessory!
It works for one of our "Houdini" horses! The muzzle is staying on (muzzle + neck collar).
My mare was not only able to get this off but managed to break the snap within 2 hours. I contacted the company, and they were very good about replacing the snap with a better one. The strap has slowed down how long it takes her to get her muzzle off, but she still has the talent to be-muzzle herself.
If you'll send a photo of how your mare usually has her muzzle and halter fitted, directly from the side with her head up, to support@gg-equine.com, chances are, we can help you figure out a way to keep her from slipping out. It's what we're here for and what we're best at!
Products very good, when sales are on price ok then
