So well made; yet not indestructible

I rate this 5 stars because I’m impressed with how well made and strong this is. But sadly it has not been able to withstand the rigors of my 4 year old warm blood on stall rest who really likes to use his teeth and was very frustrated by having a slow feeder. To be fair, I’m not sure there is any product out there that could, because he really gets after it. First he ripped off the reinforcing circle around the hole. From there he was able to slowly but surely rip it apart. It has only lasted about a month. If your horse is a little more subdued than that, I imagine it will work well for a long time!

Great hay bag for slow feeding

What a great solution for slow feeding and eliminating hay wastage. Ty is is a sturdy bag and the buttons are easier to use than zippers. My horses took to the bags without an issue and I like the flexibility of hanging them or putting them on the ground.

Best feeders! Horses love them!

These bags are the best! Both of my horses (one is overweight/on a diet, and the other has PPID,) love them! I already had large hay play bags. But I purchased two of the button bags. I love the fact that they are closed on one side. So even when the weather is miserable and the ground bad, I can still use them without worrying about mud getting in. And that velcro means business! LOL. Great design. I can really stuff them to keep the boys busy. There are days when I use all 4 bags, the large play bags, and the button bags. So well made. Definitely my horses' favorite!

Great bag for floor feeding!

Got this for my 3 YO pony to keep him busy while allowing him to eat off the ground. It took him a week to learn not to turn it over (no holes on the other side). I made 2 of the holes bigger by trimming inside the first line of stitching. He's figured out how to use his hoof to move the hay around inside the bag so he can get to it. At night check it's empty so I take it out or he sleeps on it! He gets an alfalfa mix hay then. He is barefoot with no shoes.
