Smarter Horse Accessories for Safer Grazing & Turnout

I am thrilled with this product. My fat Welsh pony really didn't take very long to get used to it and even though he managed to get it off a couple of times, a few easy adjustments sorted it out. He grazes easily without frustration. I also think the quality of the materials and construction seems to be really good so far. He is unfortunately off pasture completely at the moment due to a laminitis flare up but I look forward to being able to turn him out again in short stints and this muzzle definitely seems like it'll allow me to do that without worry once he's back to a good weight!

Green Guard helped to make sure the fit was right for my house, they were very responsive and helpful! These muzzles last for years! I Highly recommend investing in these grazing muzzles as a long term solution!

I'm giving the grazing muzzle a five star after a week and a half of use. I hope it continues being a five star going forward. Took a little adjustment in the beginning and I'm using all the Houdini straps but so far the pony has stopped trying to rub it off and seems to be adjusting to the muzzle. I put fleece cheek protectors on the halter straps as he started to get rubs pretty quick and that has helped. My next challenge will be if he can use the muzzle while feeding off a round bale this winter when it's cold. The muzzle is too large for my automatic waters so I had to put a stock tank out for him. But I think the other horses love that. Just more work for me.
This is a lovely little Missouri Foxtrotter pony and I hope I can keep him sound going forward with the use of this grazing muzzle.
After spending the summer getting him sound again I put him back out in the pasture with my two horses and a mule and at this point none have bothered him or have tried to get the muzzle off of him.
This is the first time I've had to use a grazing muzzle in the 40 years I've had horses, but it seemed like it had the best chances of being successful based on how it is designed. Plus I love all the tutorials!

this muzzle has so many ways of adjusting. Great customer service to help with buying the correct size and fitting. Thank you!! Now my ponies can both go out to grass (limited) and graze.

My 27 year old mare is doing amazing with this grazing muzzle. She's patient letting me put it on her and knows she can go out on pasture when it's on. Her health has been doing really good also since we have changed up her feeding routine too.

I’m not gonna lie, I was skeptical of this working at all. I bought some of the other muzzles and halters but fitting them never worked. Yours is not only fitting but it is comfortable for Sprinkles to wear. I’m hoping for a healthier horse just down the road. 👍🏼

I have ponies which means at least one is in a muzzle. Over the years I have tried every version out there. The current pony has hyperesthesia from chronic Lyme disease which is improving with treatment. But it means he's very sensitive to touch. With one model he refused to move or drink. Another version, clear plastic, he just kept tearing up or getting off maybe with help from his pasture buddies. He's been in the GG & their halter for over 2 months now. Never gotten it off although it did tear in a corner. The warranty service was amazing! They replaced it quickly & recommended I use the corner straps. I made sure to follow their fitting instructions. His nose & chin initially got rubs on them. I recommend buying the stickers to prevent this and put on the muzzle when it's new if your horse has a good size chin. That solved the issue. I like how rain doesn't affect the muzzle and he has room to breathe. He seems happy in it too.

I am very happy with the grazing muzzle. I really love the gg halter.It is so well made and I love the throat snap.My mare looks amazing and a large part of that goes to the muzzle.

We got the neck strap to work with our Tough 1 grazing muzzle and it really did the trick for my houdini mare!
